ERG Champs

The community for ERG leaders who are tired of doing this alone. Tour stops, in-person summits, a private home base, and yes — a dance ritual at the end of every session. This is who shows up when the work gets real.

Why It Exists

Built for the leaders doing the work.

The ERG Movement kept hearing the same thing from ERG leaders across the country: "I have no one to talk to about this." Their HR contact didn't get it. Their exec sponsor didn't have time. Their fellow leads were in the same boat — burned out, under-resourced, doing twelve different jobs at once.

ERG Champs is the answer. A community of ERG leaders who've decided they're not doing this alone anymore — the ones running the programs, fighting for the budget, training the next leads, and trying to make it all feel like something.

Champs meet online inside ERGs.io. They meet in person at tour stops and summits. They share what's working, what's broken, and what they're trying next. And at the end of every live session — they dance.

What Makes Champs Different

A community with a practice.

Most ERG communities are a Slack channel and a hope. ERG Champs is built around three things — a place to land, people to land with, and rituals that turn coworkers into a crew.

01
Home Base

A real home base

Champs gather online inside ERGs.io — the private community built by ERG leaders, for ERG leaders. Discussions, resources, templates, and the people who get it. Not a Slack channel that died after launch week.

02
In-Person

In-person moments

Tour stops in real cities, summits where Champs actually meet each other, and live workshops that turn into reunions. The relationships built in the room are why people come back.

03
Rituals

Rituals that land

The opening icebreaker that actually breaks the ice. The closing dance. The post-session group photo. Practices that signal you belong here — and that this isn't another work meeting in disguise.

The Signature Ritual

There's a reason there's 100+ photos of ERG leaders dancing.

Every Movement session ends the same way. Chairs get pushed back. The music gets turned up. And whoever's in the room — execs, brand-new leads, ten-year veterans, the quiet ones in the back — gets up and dances together. It's the closing ritual. It's the part no one expects. It's the part everyone remembers.

Leadership can be awkward. So can dancing. The dance is the moment people stop performing leadership and start belonging to something.

How You Become a Champ

There's one way in.

ERG Champs lives inside ERGs.io. Joining the platform is how you join the community — the discussions, the resources, the tour invites, the dance.

ERGs.io

The platform and the community.

ERGs.io is the pipeline platform built by ERG leaders for ERG leaders — vendor discovery, planning tools, templates, and the private Champs community all in one place. Joining is how you get in the room.

  • Private Champs community — discussions, intros, and the people who get it.
  • Tour & summit invites — first access to live events and meetups.
  • Resource library — templates, SOPs, and playbooks from The Movement.
  • Vendor discovery — find the right people to staff your programming.
  • Member voting — Champs help decide the next tour stop, next topic, next guest.
Champs is for

Leaders doing the work.

  • Current ERG leads, co-chairs, and committee members
  • ERG Program Managers and DEI practitioners running programs
  • Aspiring leads who want to learn before they take the seat
  • Execs and sponsors who want to actually show up for their leaders
  • Anyone tired of doing this alone
Champs is not for

Lurkers and collectors.

  • People hunting for free templates with no intent to engage
  • Vendors looking to pitch — there's a separate path for that
  • Anyone who thinks DEI is performance, not practice
  • Folks who want to gatekeep instead of build
