Walmart SERVES ARG Hosts Sheep Dog Impact Assistance Walk Event

"One of my top values is community. No matter what I do in my life, I want to ensure I give back in some way, shape or form. To help people connect and come together. Last year, I struggled with whole health and was on a downward spiral. It was through community support that I was able to get back on my feet and I am in a better place than I have been in the past 15 years. Through Walmart SERVES Associate Resource Group (ARG), I had the privilege to work with an amazing team in partnership with Sheep Dog Impact Assistance to help them host a walk/ruck event in honor of veterans and first responders to promote whole health and awareness. We all deal with burdens, but it is okay to leave those burdens behind by offloading bit by bit at a time and just know that you are not alone. It was great not only seeing people in the community together, but also people remote to Northwest Arkansas participate in their regions for the cause. Thank you to all the volunteers and participants that helped this event come together and I look forward to what great value we will bring in the near future.
