Our LatinX ERG, ¡Vamos Vonage! here at Vonage, had the honor to kick-off Hispanic Heritage Month with former Rocket Scientist, Keynote Speaker, and Comedian, Shayla Rivera! 🥳
She not only made our cheeks hurt, but she also shared her story, which moved and inspired everyone, with "My story, your story." There was something our members, and our allies, could all connect to. Anywhere from following her dream, to finding and showcasing her true self, or relatable quotes from Sigmund Freud.
We tend to have the clear blueprint of ourselves right in front of us, but feel misguided to follow a common path, one of which we don't truly feel connected to. Therefore, sticking to your authentic self is the most trusting way to go. ✊
