US Steel's SERVE (Strengthening and Enhancing Relationships of Veteran Employees) Employee Resource Group (ERG) Celebrates Memorial Day

"On June 1, I will begin serving as the Executive Sponsor for U. S. Steel’s SERVE (Strengthening and Enhancing Relationships of Veteran Employees) Employee Resource Group (ERG). Since I joined the company in 2020, I’ve admired the SERVE team’s work within our company and in the communities where we operate, including numerous military cemetery and memorial clean-up events like the one shown above. Their passion for supporting individuals who serve or have served in the military and their family members, who also serve our nation in different yet vital ways, is admirable and a credit to our company and our country.

I would like to thank the SERVE team for welcoming me to their ranks. I’m looking forward to working with you to honor our service members – active duty, veteran, living, deceased, missing and imprisoned – and their families all year round, starting with this Memorial Day as we display the official POW/MIA flag at our operating facilities.
