UPS' AA BRG Presents their Subcommittee AABRG: NEXTUPs

"What a great day to be a UPSer! Today, the African American Business Resource Group (AABRG) introduced its new subcomittee AABRG: NEXTUPs where our mission statement is to Connect New Networks, Accelerate Career Growth, and Retain Next Gen Talent. How do we plan to do this? By creating programming and a safe space for young black professionals to have a seat at the table and engage on things that interest our demographic in the workplace.

Today’s discussion was led by our fearless leader, Arica Jackson who had a very timely conversation with Nicole “Nikki” Clifton, President of Social Impact& The UPS Foundation on the best ways for the next generation of UPS leaders to be ready for the next level. Her advice that resonated with me most was “Act as If…” Nikki charged us to fill in that blank in a way that suits our professionals goals and do the work to materialize it.
