Tyler Scott Speaks To Deloitte on What Black History Month Means to Him
Black / African American
"After the call, we followed up with Tyler Scott to see if he’d be willing to share his story about what Black History Month means to him with our audience.
“This is always an easy question for me. I think of the Jack & Jill program (@JackandJillnc) and how it shaped me into the man I am today. For those of you who don’t know, Jack & Jill of America is a community organization started by African American mothers during the great depression.
Through workshops, guest speakers, the arts, and community service, Jack & Jill connected black youths together, which eventually put us in a position to be successful and to pay it forward.
When I think of Black History Month, I think of my mom and other mothers who invested their time, money, and patience into their children for the overall benefit of the black community.” – Tyler Scott, Lead, Cloud Business Executive, Deloitte Services LP"
