Moët Hennessy's Black ERG Hosts Discussion with Comedian Donnell Rawlings in Celebration of Black History Month
Black / African American
"I haven't laughed this hard at a work event, ever. As chair of Noir Assemblage, the Black ERG at Moët Hennessy, I moderated a discussion with comedian Donnell Rawlings and man, it was hilarious.
Amid robust company-wide programming and activities celebrating Black History Month, this afternoon we created space for joy and laughter just for the Black employees at #LVMH. It felt great to build community as we chatted about the role of African Americans in comedy and the future of the art form. We were also able to glean lessons about work and life: being prepared when opportunity presents itself, building a team who inspires each other, and the importance of staying true to your authentic self.
We have so much more in store for the rest of the month and the rest of the year. I'll definitely share more of it with you here. In the meantime, if you don't already recognize Donnell from The Chappelle Show or The Wire, make sure you look out for his upcoming Netflix special.
Raising a glass to my co-lead Brandon Veal, MBA, our incredible IDE leader Roland Guevara for pulling this all together, our executive sponsors Jasmin Allen & David Volpe, and Geraldine Arielle Pierre for all of her hard work. Cheers!"
