Meta Empowers Black Software Engineers to Help Grow Industry

"Last month, Facebook engineers supported /dev/color, a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower Black software engineers to help one another grow into industry leaders. The organization’s third annual conference, /dev/color in Motion, focused on learning, sharing, and connecting with peers and leaders who are shaking up the tech industry. We had strong representation at the conference this year, including Facebook's own co-creator of GraphQL who shared advice about growing as an individual contributor.
/dev/color will expand to two additional cities next year, Seattle and Atlanta, with a goal of growing their membership base.
