Hudl's Black ERG Celebrates Black History Month with their Bookclub, Presentations and More

"To celebrate UK Black History Month, the Hudl Black ERG (Employee Resource Group) has been reading 'Natives: Race and Class in the Ruins of Empire' by Akala for our book club 📚

We had an amazing group discussion last week, and all agreed that it's been a fantastic read; really engaging and eye-opening to some of the past and current issues in society. It's also been great to see our US-based colleagues embrace the book and learn from it too as they were not even aware of some of the topics discussed. I'd highly recommend this book to anyone who hasn't already read it!

Throughout the month, we organised weekly lunches from black-owned businesses and, this afternoon, we welcomed Paralympic athlete Sam Ruddock for a presentation and Q&A to discuss his successful career, future ambitions and the mindset that has seen him become an inspiration in sports and beyond 👏"
