FCB Chicago's Black ERG Celebrates Black History Month with Interview with Sherina Maye Edwards
Black / African American
"Black history is American history.
Black stories are American stories.
I had the honor of interviewing the incredibly accomplished, talented, and inspiring Sherina Maye Edwards as part of FCB Chicago’s Black History Month celebration sponsored by The Village (FCB Chi’s Black ERG). Even though Sherina is a #boss in the energy and utility industry, her experiences and wisdom are relevant no matter what field you work in. We had 30+ people in the live studio audience and 150+ watching the live stream from our offices across North America. We had so many questions that we ran out of time and couldn’t answer them all. Sherina was gracious and stayed after to talk to participants and answer more questions. She poured into each person in the room. Everyone left inspired and energized to do more and make more of an impact at work and in the world.
It truly took a village to put this event together and make it run smoothly. Special thanks to Shannon Clash, MA Brittany Terry, MA Jeremy Porter Ayantu Omer Erlinda Garcia Francis Coyne for all the extra hours you put in. If you worked behind the scenes and I missed your name, charge it to my head and not my heart. Your dedication to The Village and its success is greatly appreciated and is making an impact!! THANK YOU!!!"
