More Information
"“A few years ago, I ideated, created and named Etsy’s first Black employee resource and identity group: BridgE. Doing so helped me to express my identity as a Black woman, empowered me to authentically express my desire for connection and more diversity; and fostered a community at Etsy that still exists today.
Black History Month always brings on a period of reflection and learning for me. When representing my community, it feels like nothing short of an honor to show up in the world having the strength, and the resilience of my family and those who came before me.”
Happy Black History Month! One of the ways we’re celebrating at Etsy is by sharing the stories from members of our Black Resource & Identity Group (BridgE). We’re starting off the series with Arylee M., Engineering Director on the Frontend Enablement & User Experience Foundation team who has been with Etsy for ‘greater than’ nine years.
We’ll continue sharing more stories and how we’re celebrating throughout the month, so stay tuned! #LifeAtEtsy"
