"As we continue to honor our Black History, the Black Professional Network PHX Chapter hosted a Cinema Movie Experience yesterday where we invited our members to a private theater to view a film significant in black history, 42 - The Jackie Robinson Story! This movie showcased a man breaking barriers in a time where black people were not socially accepted in professional sports. He persevered and paved the way for many other black athletes to be successful after him. #RepresentationMatters
May we continue to remember these stories that not only show us the progress we’ve made, but also reminds us that there’s more work to be done!
