American Airlines Black Professional Network Celebrates 25 Years of Inclusion

"This past Tuesday, the American Airlines Black Professional Network celebrated 25 years of inclusion at American Airlines with a Kwanzaa Gala in Philly! We took a trip down memory lane with fun, laughter, libations, and dancing at City Winery while remembering the importance of living by the 7 Principles of Kwanzaa as we lit the Kinara and reflected on all that we accomplished. Thank you to all that brought a book to the gala, we donated them to Children's Literacy Initiative, an organization that ensures teachers have the resources to meet the needs of children in marginalized communities.

Combined with the gala, was our final in-person National Executive Board Leadership Meetingof the year to discuss goals for 2023. While in Philly we had the privilege of supporting SISTERS RETURNING HOME, an organization committed to providing support for previously incarcerated women and connecting them with skills and resources for successful re-entry into the world. As a member of the Second Chance Business Coalition we are committed to finding ways to help provide opportunity for all to be successful.
