Adidas Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month Celebration at Headquarters in Portland

"Some may not understand why I spend so much energy on the adidas Hispanic & Latinx ERG, VIDA. This is why: It gives me purpose to bring diversity and cultural awareness to a company with such an influence on society.

20 years from now, I won't talk about how many units I've sold. I will talk about the colleagues who said they finally found a family at work, how our VIDA meetings cheer them up, how much it meant for them to celebrate their culture...

ERGs increase employee morale, motivation and sense of belonging, improving retention and performance. To me, that's what it means to be a people leader, to drive business results through employee engagement.

With that, I leave you with snapshots of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration at the adidas NAM HQ in Portland. Music, food, local vendors... If you see adidas t-shirts next year with Mexican pom poms or salsa jars graphics, you know why!
