"Military & Veterans ERG Memorial Day Flags out Event at Garrison Forest Veteran Cemetery Tuesday May 31st, 2022. We had another successful showing of #differencemakers to help pull the flags out and honor our American heroes. I was told by one of my colleagues that the staff was elated to have the help and support. They are typically alone to pull up the 38,000 flags that are placed over the weekend. I was also surprised that we were the only organization out there to help. I think our team did an incredible job and probably got close to 60-70% of those in a matter of a couple of hours. I am so proud of our team and members for stepping up this past week! And I am reminded that we can make a difference in people’s lives and our communities through our willingness to act."
